Our Origin Story

Brea lost a sister who was struggling with mental health in 2023, right around the same time that Jenny was navigating personal challenges in her marriage. Both found conventional mental healthcare simply wasn't working for their situations.

Their search for alternatives led them to study psychedelics at InnerTrek in Oregon, where they formed a fast and deep bond. Brea often wonders what might have been different if her sister had access to psychedelic therapy. Jenny reflects on how psychedelics could have helped her relationship.

Could psychedelics have made a difference? We wont ever know for sure, but according to the research, it IS definatley possible. So SPAN was born~  to provide psychedelic safety education for those exploring this path and their support networks.

Will psychedelics work for you or your loved ones?  That is for you to decide. Our commitment is to offer accurate, evidence-based information regarding the risks and benefits of psychedelics, empowering you to make informed choices. This is the work that drives us every day. This is our legacy.

This is the Safer Psychedelics Association of New England, and we are so glad you are here!
